Featured Item: Pistachios

Pistachios are a salty snack full of nutrients, and also a great crunchy and nutty addition to recipes.

Pistachios pack a “powerful punch” for your health. They have nutrients like vitamin B6, plant-based compounds that act as antioxidants, and are known to decrease risk of death from cancer, heart disease and respiratory disease (learn more).

Although they’re nutritious, it can be easy to overindulge on pistachios. It’s suggested to eat about one handful a day.

You can simply snack on the pistachios, but you can also use them in a variety of ways in meals. We’ve linked some ideas below!
