Recipe: Maple Tahini Dressing

A sweet and savory dressing for salads, roasted veggies, as a dip, and more.

Salad season is almost here! We’re looking forward to having an abundance of veggies at Core Goods from local farms. We’ll start adding new produce each week, and during the winter we often have root vegetables, like carrots, potatoes, and beets.

We occasionally have this maple tahini dressing on a salad as a grab and go meal, and we have also made it for caterings, including a “build your own buddha bowl” lunch for the Detox & De-Stress Workshop held at the Oil City YWCA a few years ago.

It’s delicious as a salad dressing, but can be used in a variety of other ways. Plus, we have ALL the ingredients available at Core Goods.

RECIPE:

You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl or jar and mix well with a fork or whisk.

Additional Notes

You could also use a blender for the dressing, to help mix it better.

  • This is so delicious and very fast and easy to make! I’ve used it on many things ~salads, stir-fry, as a dip for veggies or chips, a spread for sandwiches, etc.
