Dried Turkish apricots are a sweet, dried fruit to snack on, but also delicious when added to recipes.
At Core Goods, our dried apricots are organic and unsulphured, meaning
sulphur dioxide (which acts as a preservative) is not added. Because they are unsulphured, the texture is a bit courser and the color is a dark orange/brown.
Apricots tend to be easily perishable, so they are often found in dried form. They contain iron, calcium, and vitamins including A and C (learn more).
While they are commonly snacked on by themselves, dried apricots can also be chopped up and added to desserts, entrees, and more (see ideas below).
